Knights Stuck Licking their Wounds

To say the end of the season was rough for the Golden Knights is an understatement. Everything was there for them as the second wild card team, the Nashville Predators, were losers of four of their last five games. However, over the past six games, fighting for their playoff lives, the Golden Knights won only once, going 1-2-3 throughout that stretch. Additionally, their last three games all were shootout losses, with the Knights going a combined 0-for-17 in shootout attempts in those contests. This will be the first year since the 2017-2018 NHL season, in which the Golden Knights fail to reach the playoffs. 

The Blues are huge winners of this game against Vegas. Not only do they get to end the season with a sure win against a worn out and depleted opponent, but the Minnesota Wild, who are currently in the no. 2 seed in the Central Division, finish off their season against the Calgary Flames and the Colorado Avalanche. Expect the Blue to win this game handedly and steal the 2 seed.
