Minnesota Wild at Winnipeg Jets

The Minnesota Wild travel up to Canada to take on the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday, March 8th (7:30 PM EST, ESPN+). The division rivals have faced-off twice already, with the Wild taking home the win in both. The season series is currently 2-0-0 in favor of Minnesota, but the Jets will have two more shots at redemption, the first coming Wednesday night. The current moneyline has the Jets favored at -125, while the Wild are priced at +105. Both teams should be ready for a high-octane, physical battle, as they jockey for position heading into the postseason. 

Minnesota Wild Breakdown (+105)

The Minnesota Wild are 36-21-6 with 78 points through 63 games. They have won 8 out of their last 10 games (8-1-1 record) and are currently on a 4 game winning streak. The Wild are 2nd in the Central Division, 5th in the Western Conference, and are tied for 10th (with the Seattle Kraken) in the entire league. The Jets still have a shot at the playoffs, but will need to tighten things up as the regular season nears its conclusion. They have yet to beat the Minnesota Wild this season, but are still considered the favorites since the game is at home, where the Jets have a win-rate of 63.6% (21-10-2). The Wild on the other hand, have a win-rate of 50.0% (15-11-4) on the road. However, Winnipeg are 1-4 in their last 5 home games, while the Wild have won 2 consecutive games on the road. Winnipeg are in for a battle against Minnesota, but if they can emulate the form they showed earlier this season, they have a shot at victory.
