Carolina Advances
Game 6 of this series was not a good one for Hurricanes goalie Antti Raanta. After playing spectacularly through practically the first 5 games in which he averaged less than two goals a game, he was yanked as he allowed 3 goals and only managed a poor .769 save percentage. If the Hurricanes hope to win, they will need the Raanta of the first 5 games of the series to show up, not the version of him that looked slow in game 6.
Lucky for Carolina, they will be at home, where they’ve dominated in these playoffs. They have yet to lose in Carolina in these playoffs and are a perfect 7-0. Additionally, they have only allowed 8 goals in those 7 home games in these playoffs, meaning they are a much better defensive team at home as well. The over has hit in only game 6 of all the games in this series, so expect this game to look more like games 1 through 5.
