But Not with a Win 

When you play the best defensive team in hockey, goals will naturally be hard to come by, but putting up 1 goal in a playoff game isn’t going to cut it, especially when you rank in the top half of the league offensively. Such is the case for the Bruins who lost Game 1 of this series against the Hurricanes by a grand total of 5-1. I don’t want to downplay the tall task of beating the Hurricanes, as that is no easy feat, but the Bruins are no pushover themselves, and although they outshot Carolina 36-25, the final score told a different story. 

Matt Grzelcyk had a rough Game 1 performance against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night, as he was on the ice for three of their goals, and thanks to a bad call on his part, allowed Tuevo Teravainen of the Hurricanes to net a goal past Linus Ullmark to give Carolina a 3-1 lead. Expect some changes to the lineup from Bruins head Coach Bruce Cassidy which will help on the defensive end for the bruins. Expect a coser low scoring game this time.
