Blues look to Become No. 32
In the 105 years that the NHL has existed, there has only been 31 times in which a team has come back and won the series after being down 3-1. The most recent, surprisingly, was actually this playoffs, when the New York Rangers overcame that deficit against the Pittsburgh Penguins after Sidney Crosby went down. And we’re not saying that the Blues are going to win this series, but there is a chance that they can force a game seven as they now have game six on home ice. The Avalanche are huge favorites to put this game away, though, and advance to the next series, as they are currently -170 favorites and have 80% of all public bets placed on them.
With that being said, the Blues puck line is a play for this one. The Blues will enter the game completely energized after scoring three goals in the last 21 minutes of game five. They completed one of the most improbable comebacks in all of NHL playoff history, and now get to go back to home ice, where they will at least put up a good fight against his better Avalanche team.
