Two winless preseason teams look to grab a win

The Saints have yet to win a game this preseason. They dropped their first game to the Texans 17-13 and their second game to the Packers 20-10. Both of these games were on the road though they now get to host the Chargers in the Superdome.

The Chargers have also lost both preseason games. They dropped their first game to the defending Super Bowl champs 29-22. They then lost to the Cowboys 32-18. There shouldn’t be any worry though as all of this was without Justin Herbert though who will not play a preseason snap.

This line opened up at Saints -1.5 and has moved to Saints -3. There is a good reason for that. The Chargers have not been good this preseason as they have shown a commitment to not playing the players that have already made the roster. The Saints may play Jameis Winston but at this point it is a 50-50 shot. The Chargers have played poorly this preseason while the Saints have too but they have played teams closer. The Chargers are traveling across the country and will have to play in the Superdome. I think the Saints dominate this game at home.
