The Steelers Face The Raiders on Sunday Night Football

Both the Raiders and the Steelers are 1-1 through the first two weeks, and on Sunday Night Football, the two AFC rivals go head-to-head. The Raiders are favored slightly, but the Steelers are coming off a big win over the Cleveland Browns, while the Raiders struggled against the Bills last week. Pittsburgh’s defense has suffered, allowing the 3rd-most yards in the NFL, but last week they forced 4 turnovers and scored two touchdowns. However, the Steelers still give up 26.0 points per game. The Raiders defense isn’t much better, giving up 27.0 points per game and the 12th-most yards. 

I like the over in this one. Both the Steelers and the Raiders give up a lot of points, and with the O/U set at 43, the over is looking good. Both sides have dynamic offensive weapons, from Las Vegas WR Devonte Adams to Pittsburgh RB Najee Harris, and both offenses are looking to have a bounce back performance. The Raiders get home field advantage, which will play a big role, as the Steelers won’t be able to feed off the energy of their fervent fans. Expect a back-and-forth shootout that goes down to the final whistle.
