The LA Rams Need a Win
The 4-2 Dallas Cowboys will host the 3-4 LA Rams for their 29th all-time matchup this Sunday. Dallas is favored by 6 points, and on the season, the Cowboys are 4-1 as favorites. Dallas is also 3-0 at home, which is where they will face the Rams this weekend. LA is a respectable 2-1 on the road, but as underdogs, the Rams are 1-3 this season.
It’s a tough matchup for the Rams, who need a win in order to stay relevant in the NFC West. LA is averaging a middling 22.1 points per game, but the Rams have won every game when they score 25+. Unfortunately, they face a Dallas defense that’s giving up 16.7 points per game, and have only allowed 25+ points to their opponents twice.
Bet on the Cowboys to cover the spread in this one. Dallas has been excellent at home, winning by an average margin of 27.5 points, and with the spread set at 6, the Cowboys will cover with ease. Dallas is 4-2 ATS, and are nice and rested after coming off their bye. The Rams on the other hand, are coming off a tough 17-24 loss to the Steelers. LA QB Matt Stafford has struggled to complete passes under pressure, which doesn’t bode well against Dallas, who rank 1st in quarterback pressures this season.
So for our Rams vs. Cowboys expert pick, take the Dallas Cowboys to Cover (-6) on Sunday.
