NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals

This is the Sunday, September 24th NFL report for the Cowboys vs. Cardinals prediction. The game starts at 4:25 PM EST in Arizona’s State Farm Stadium. The Moneyline has the Cardinals at +500, while the Cowboys are favored at -700. The O/U is set at 43 points, and the Spread is 12.5 in favor of Dallas.

The Dallas Defense Is Unbeatable 

The Dallas Cowboys are perfect through the first two weeks of the young NFL season. They dismantled the New York Giants in their season opener, and convincingly took down the New York Jets Week 2. One could argue the Cowboys are the best team in the NFL right now, as they’ve recorded 70 points for and only 10 points against, the best point differential by far. The Cowboys defense has given up 1 touchdown so far, allowing 5.0 points per game, and 226.0 total yards, all of which lead the NFL. Dallas is easily the best defense in the league, and the Arizona Cardinals are in for a tough matchup. 

The Cardinals are 0-2. They’ve scored 44 points and allowed 51, and are major underdogs against Dallas’ strong defense. The Cardinals are coming off a terrible loss to the New York Giants, who the Cowboys demolished, where Arizona gave up a 20 point lead, scored just 8 points in the second half, and lost 31-28 on a game winning field goal. The Cardinals don’t have it this year, and with QB Kyler Murray Out until at least Week 5, and star Safety Budda Baker on IR, the Arizona Cardinals have no chance against the Dallas Cowboys.
