Struggling NFC teams clash

The Rams have been terrible since their Super Bowl win 2 years ago and this season looks to be another example of that. They sit 3-5 on the year and 3rd in the NFC West. Stafford hasn’t practiced all week and doesn’t look like he’ll be suiting up. The offense has been solid averaging 22 a game behind the 8th best passing attack. They do have a decent run game ranked 16th. On the other side they haven’t been great allowing 23 a game. They are dead last in takeaways and 31st in sacks on the year. Winning in Lambeau with a backup quarterback will be a tall task.

The Packers are having a nightmare season in their first year without Aaron Rodgers. They started the year 2-1 but are currently on a 4 game losing streak putting them a 2-5 3rd in their division. Jordan Love started the year well but has struggled massively these last 4 games. This offense seems to just be getting worse they have only scored 40 points in their last 3 games against bad defenses. Behind a bottom 5 rushing attack only averaging 3.8 yards per carry and a struggling Jordan Love this could be the league’s worst offense. Defensively they have been solid but training away Rasoul Douglas at the deadline will be a hit to this defense. 

Take the Packers in this one. With Stafford I think the Rams could take this one but winning in Lambeau with a backup quarterback is a challenge. The Packers offense will continue to struggle but they’ll turn to the defense to shut down the Stafford-less Rams. So for our Rams v Packers expert pick take the Packers -3.
