Record on the Line? 

As we all know, the Baltimore Ravens hold the record for most consecutive preseason wins at 22. So we couldn’t bet against them, right? Tonight they take on the Washington commanders who have lost their two preseason games despite having Carson Wentz go multiple drives into the game. This is understandable as this will be his first time starting for this team and they want Carson to get plenty of reps with the first team offense to build more and more in-game chemistry. Carson has looked alright as he’s completed 16 of his 22 pass attempts for 72.7% completion percentage and a QB rating of 88.8. He hasn’t thrown an interception which is good despite the fact that we are still in pre pre-season. 

The quarterback opposite Carson once will be Tyler Huntley once again, who really made headlines as he took over for Lamar Jackson and completely balled out last season. Personally, I believe that Tyler Huntley could be a starting quarterback on a different team, but it’s great that they have him as the backup here. In this preseason, he has been a phenomenal 29 for 32 with the completion percentage of 90.6% for 238 yards and two touchdowns. He has a QB rating of 118.5, along with five rushing attempts for 26 yards. With the way that Huntley is playing, don’t expect this record to break tonight. Although it is amazing what they are doing, they are. All in all, the record is quite useless as nothing matters unless you bring a Super Bowl back to your city in the regular season, but expect them to extend it to 23 straight wins.
