Ok, let’s get to our Arizona vs Rams picks.

Tonight’s Monday Night Football match-up could have huge implications for the NFC Playoff Picture as both teams are in the hunt for that Number 1 seed and first-round bye.

After going 0-3 in the month of November, the Rams had a “get-well” game last week at home where they destroyed Jacksonville, 37-7, to get back on the winning track and improve to 8-4 overall.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals also got healthy last week and welcomed back the services of its two best offensive players – QB Kyler Murray and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins – and beat the Bears on the road, 33-22. That win improved Arizona to 10-2 which means a win tonight would nearly clinch the top spot in the NFC West for Kliff Kingsbury’s team, which has covered eight out of 10 games this season overall.

These two teams met in Week 7 in LA and the Cardinals cruised to a 37-20 win in that game as a 3-point underdog and we expect Arizona to have similar success tonight.

Simply put, when the Cardinals are healthy, they have proven to be one of the elite teams in the NFL this year. They started the season with seven straight wins, outscoring opponents 225 to 114 and then lost a close one at home to Green Bay. In that game Murray got hurt and missed the next three games and the Cards still managed to win two of those three games.

While Arizona has looked dominant at times, the same can’t be said for the Rams, who despite last week’s win over pitiful Jacksonville, are just 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall and have covered just one of their last 5 games against winning teams.

QB Matthew Stafford has looked injured at times over the last several weeks and he’ll be put to the test tonight in front of a raucous Cardinals home crown and throwing against a Arizona defense that is the fourth-best in the league in defending the pass.

So, in a game where we can lay less than a field goal, let’s take the better quarterback and the better defense playing at home on Monday Night. Take the Cardinals minus the short number tonight!
