Putrid NFC South matchup in Carolina

The Falcons are 4-5 on the season. They had a chance to take and extend their division lead as they held a lead over the Chargers this week but they blew it. They are in the bad spot where they aren’t good enough to make noise in the playoffs but aren’t bad enough for a top draft pick. 

The Panthers are 2-7 on the season. They have a decent team but have absolutely no quarterback. They have switched back and forth between Baker Mayfield and PJ Walker for about three weeks. 

I like the under in this game. The Falcons are third in the NFL this season as they average 36 rush attempts per game. They are going to control this game on the ground and waste a lot of clock. The Panthers will also rely on their run game here as they can’t trust a QB this season.
