Preseason action kicks off in New England

The Giants visit New England after finishing last season with six straight losses. They are hoping that they can turn it around this year as health has costed them in consecutive years with star running back Saquon Barkley.

The Patriots are coming off of a nice season where they made the playoffs but were then blown out in the first round by the Bills and Josh Allen. They are hoping QB Mac Jones can take the next step this year in his progression. 

I love the Giants in this one. None of the starting QBs in this game will be playing and that means the backups will be getting reps. The Giants will be playing veteran Tyrod Taylor. Taylor should pick apart these second and third string defenses as he has started 53 games in the NFL throughout his career. I think the Patriots will have trouble containing Taylor.
