Week 2 of the NFL regular season kicks off with the Minnesota Vikings taking on the Philadelphia Eagles. Here we will highlight the best player prop wagers, as well as provide a prediction for the outcome of the game. The Eagles are favored by 6 points with a moneyline at -265, while the Vikings come in as the underdogs priced at +215. Last season the Eagles beat the Vikings 24-7, and will look to replicate that performance once again on Thursday Night Football.

Vikings vs. Eagles: Player Props
Jalen Hurts, Eagles QB, Over 45.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
Jalen Hurts may not have recorded the numbers some were expecting, but he got the job done. The Eagles won their 2023 season opener because of their QB’s steady hand and ability to manage the game. Behind his impressive offensive line, Hurts had 170 yards through the air and 37 yards on the ground. He had 9 rushing attempts, and against a middling Vikings defense, Hurts will have no problem finding space in the open field. Take the over on his 45.5 rushing yards prop.
Kirk Cousins, Vikings QB, Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-115)
The Vikings lost their opening game, but Kirk Cousins put up some big numbers. The 35-year old out of Michigan State went 33/44, recording 344 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. I don’t expect him to record over 300 yards against a talented Eagles defense, but clearly the Vikings are a pass first team. Cousins will have ample opportunities to find the endzone, so take the over on his 1.5 passing touchdowns prop.
A.J. Brown, Eagles WR, Over 75.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
In his second year with the Philadelphia Eagles, A.J. Brown has a;ready solidified himself as the teams WR1. In the Eagles opener, Brown recorded 7 receptions on 10 targets for 79 yards. He averaged 11.3 yards per catch, and showed he is both a short pass and deep ball threat. With 4.49 speed and an exceptional vert, A.J. Brown has big play potential whenever he touches the ball. Take the over on his 75.5 receiving yards prop.
Justin Jefferson, Vikings WR, Over 90.5 Receiving Yards (-120)
JJ is clearly the top WR in Minnesota. In Week 1, he failed to score a TD, but the 4th-year wideout had 5 receptions for 90 yards in the first half alone. Jefferson finished the game with 9 receptions for 150 yards, and a team high 12 targets. Jefferson is a production machine, and against a Philly defense that gave up 306 passing yards in week 1, he will feast. Take the over on Justin Jefferson’s 90.5 receiving yards prop.
Vikings vs. Eagles Game Prediction
Take the Philadelphia Eagles to win on Thursday night. The Vikings don’t have a good enough defense to slow down this Jalen Hurts lead offense. Not only do the Eagles have talented skill position players, they also have the best offensive line in the NFL. The Vikings recorded just 1 sack in Week 1, and against Philly’s imposing O-line, Minnesota will struggle to put the pressure on Hurts. Minnesota had no problem racking up the yards, but touchdowns were hard to come by. The Eagles on the other hand, can run the ball down the Vikings throats when they reach the redzone.
Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles Moneyline (-265)
Final Score: Eagles 24, Vikings 17
