One of the biggest games in Week 4 of the NFL season is an AFC East showdown between the 3-0 Miami Dolphins and the 1-2 New England Patriots. Even though the Dolphins have an early two-game lead over the other three teams in the division race, they are currently listed as +225 second-favorites to win the AFC East title. Despite the slow start, New England is still a hefty favorite at -225.

When it comes to Sunday’s game in Foxborough, BetAnySports has the Patriots listed as 6.5-point home favorites after the line opened at seven. The total line for this 1 p.m. start on CBS is set at 48 points.

As part of the list of prop bets that BetAnySports has released for this game, there are a few concerning touchdowns scored. New England tight end Rob Gronkowski has the best odds on the board of any player on either team to score a touchdown at -133. Through his first three games, he has caught 13 passes for 189 yards and one touchdown.

These early stats squeeze some of the value out of his odds to score on Sunday, but Gronk is still a viable threat to score a touchdown in any game he plays. His betting odds to score the first touchdown of the game are set at +550 and his odds to score two or more touchdowns are set at +300.

The next player on the list to score a touchdown in Sunday’s game is New England running back Sony Michel at -120. The rookie will be pressed into service as the lead back in the Patriots’ offense with the recent loss of Rex Burkhead with a knee injury. Michel is the second-leading rusher through three games with 84 yards on 24 carries. New England has yet to score a touchdown this season on the ground and Michel has not been a big part of the passing game with two receptions for five yards. I do not see all that much value in this play given the added risk in the odds.

The Miami player with the best value to score a touchdown is wide receiver Kenny Stills at +150. He leads the Dolphins in touchdowns this season with three, including a pair of scores in the season opener against Tennessee. Stills also leads the team in receiving yards with 184 as one of quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s favorite targets.
