NFL Teams O/U 2023

Chicago Bears: Over 7.5

The Bear started off last season 3-4 but then went into a free fall as they finished the season 3-14 and lost ten straight games. I am going to take the over on their wins here though. The biggest reason for this is their quarterback Justin Fields. This will be his second season under head coach Matt Eberflus and I think he makes another leap this year. They really unlocked his rushing ability last year and I think he is able to use that to push this team to at least 8 wins. This team’s defense is pretty decent and if the offense can just put up some points I think this could be a team that is sneaky good. 

New York Jets: Under 9.5

I know this may be a bold take as the Jets just acquired future hall of famer Aaron Rodgers to be their quarterback and the over is -140 but I think there is a ton of value in taking the under here. Rodgers is already 39 years old and he showed some signs of regression last season. The Jets are playing in one of the best if not the best division in football this year as the Dolphins, Bills, and Patriots should form to make a brutal division schedule. I think this team is being overvalued a bit here. Take the under on their season win total.
