NFL season kicks off with a bang

The Chiefs are coming in hot this year coming off another Super Bowl win Mahomes and his crew are looking to run it back. They do have some question marks coming into this game that could bite them. Travis Kelce is questionable with a hyperextended knee and even if he does play won’t be 100%. On top of that Chris Jones is continuing his holdout through the season so the Chiefs will be missing their top defensive player and top offensive weapon.

The Lions are coming into this year with the most hype in a decade. They are favored to win the division for the first time in recent memory. Coming off a solid season last year and adding players all around this team will get their biggest test to start this season. Behind a monstrous offensive line and weapons all around Goff the Lions are looking to make a statement against the defending Super Bowl champs.

Take the Lions in this game. All signs point towards the Lions in this game. Only reason to not take ML is because Patrick Mahomes is on the other side of the field. With Kelce and Jones out it will be tough for the Chiefs to pull this one out against a stacked Lions team. You can never underestimate Andy Reid and Mahomes but we’ll take the Lions in this one.
