The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have to be considered two of the most surprising teams in the NFL thus far. And they are both being led by rookie quarterbacks. They will clash in what is a key NFC East matchup on Sunday night. The game, which is played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, is slated to begin at 8:30 PM ET, and while NBC is televising it live, BetAnySports patrons will have an opportunity to place wagers on it in real time, using the state-of-the-art software available through Live Betting Ultra.

The Cowboys currently lead the division at 5-1, with Eagles a game behind at 4-2. All four teams in the division are over the .500 mark. And the fourth-round draft pick out of Mississippi State has been great in his place, throwing seven TD passes with only one interception. A 68.7% passer, he is also useful with his legs, as he has scored three rushing touchdowns as well.

So what is the story with Romo? Well, he came back to practice this week, but the coaching staff is going to bring him along slowly, and part of it might be to continue pondering how to handle the situation. You really don’t want to spoil a good thing, and so we don’t anticipate Prescott being removed soon. Of tremendous assistance to Prescott has been the play of Ezekiel Elliott, and you really can’t say too much about what the rookie from Ohio State can do. he has averaged over five yards per carry and is at 703 yards at the moment, second behind former Cowboy DeMarco Murray, who has already played this week (for Tennessee).

Prescott’s favorite receiver has been Cole Beasley (33 catches, 390 yards). And he will likely have another target to throw to this week, as Dez Bryant expects to come back to the lineup. As BetAnySports patrons recall, he missed much time last season with an injury too. The defense could get cornerback Orlando Scandrick returning as well.

The Cowboys have averaged 401.5 yards on the offensive side of the ball, which is third best in the league. This is a great challenge for the Eagles, who have undergone a transition this season under respected coordinator Jim Schwartz. They are more aggressive (20 sacks) than they were last season, but they are also vulnerable to the run, statistically anyway, giving up 4. yards per carry. The Eagles certainly don’t have a running back that can match up with Elliott, and they had just 239 yards from scrimmage last week, after losing to the Redskins in a game where they failed top score an offensive touchdown.
