Bills vs Rams

It’s finally here the 2022–2023 NFL regular season is finally upon us. And boy are we getting a treat to kick off the season. The NFL is always great in picking their opening day matchups as we were treated last season to a spectacle between the Tampa Bay Bucs and Dallas Cowboys that was decided by a game-winning Drive orchestrated by none other than Tom Brady. And this season the opening day game should be just as great if not better as it will feature the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills. According to Vegas these are the top two favorites to win at all this season and for good reason. This will be a star-studded game that includes names such as Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Von Miller. We all know how impressive the now raining Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams were last season and they will look to show everyone that they are still the same dominant team with a huge win against Buffalo. There will be plenty of storylines to follow in this one including seeing how Matthew Stafford will look as we all know during the off-season there were some reports that he had an elbow issue that was bothering him but the organization quickly shut it down and said that he was ready to play. Will that carry over into the season? Could it possibly affect the connection between Stafford and Cooper Kupp that we all saw was one of the greatest connections of all time last season? Some storylines on the buffalo side of the ball will be pertaining to Josh Allen as we all saw him completely ball out in the playoffs as they defeated the patriots handedly but then lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the horrific way that they did by not getting an opportunity in overtime. Will Josh Allen be able to learn from this experience and carry his momentum into an MVP like season this year? Now that the Buffalo Bills lost their offensive coordinator and Brian Dabul from last season can they still be as dominant as it was or will it regress? Will Jalen Ramsey shadow Stefan digs the whole game? And last but not least will this be a revenge game for Von Miller against the team that he left last season despite winning a Super Bowl with them?

One surprising aspect from tonight‘s game is the fact that the Buffalo Bills are actually favored by 2.5 points. It’s very rare that the defending Super Bowl champions enter week one as underdogs but this is the case this season. Will the Buffalo Bills live up to their expectations this season as the true favorites?

All these questions will be answered tonight soon after kick off and they are just some of the many reasons why football is the greatest sport in America. It doesn’t get much better than the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night prime time.
