The Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks close out Week 14 of the NFL regular season with a Monday night clash at Century Link Field. Game time on ESPN is set for 8:15 p.m.

Minnesota at Seattle Game Overview

The Vikings come into the NFC tilt at 6-5-1 straight-up with an even 5-5-2 record against the spread. They are chasing Chicago in the NFC North Division race while also battling for a wild card spot in the conference. They are also coming off two losses in their last three games with last Sunday’s 24-10 setback against New England as six-point underdogs. Minnesota is 2-3-1 ATS on the road this season and the total has stayed UNDER in four of those six games.

Kirk Cousins is ranked sixth in the league in total passing yards (3,754). He has thrown 23 touchdowns against nine interceptions with a solid completion rate of 71.3 percent on 491 passing attempts which is second in the NFL to Drew Brees. One of the big issues with the Vikings’ offense has been its inability to consistently run the ball with Dalvin Cook leading the way.

Seattle moved to 7-5 SU and 7-3-2 ATS with last Sunday’s 43-16 romp over San Francisco as a 10-point home favorite on OnlineSportsBet’ closing line. This was its third SU win in a row to moved to the top of the wild card race in the NFC. The Seahawks have covered in six of their last eight games with a three-point home victory against Green Bay ending as a PUSH. They are 3-1-1 ATS at home this season with the total going OVER in three of their last four home games.

With Russell Wilson under center and a trio of running backs that each have at least 350 yards rushing, Seattle has a much more balanced attack on offense. Wilson has thrown for 2,716 yards with 29 touchdown throws against just five interceptions. Tyler Locket has been his top target in the passing games with 44 receptions for 713 yards and nine scores. Seattle’s defense has also stepped up its game and overall it is allowing an average of 21.6 points per game.

Minnesota at Seattle Free Game Prediction

Minnesota needs a win to help its playoff chances, but it is not going to get one this Monday night on the road. Seattle is playing its best ball of the year and I like its chances to win both SU and ATS.
