Tonight’s Rams vs Seahawks 2021 game is a key NFC West battle. The Seahawks got a huge win last week and avoided their first three-game losing streak in the Russell Wilson era by taking down San Francisco on Sunday, evening their record on the season to 2-2. Meanwhile, the Rams lost for the first time this season and fell to 3-1 on Sunday when they got manhandled at home by Arizona. Both of these teams are now chasing the Cardinals in the divisional race as Arizona is now a perfect 4-0.

As for our pick in this game tonight, this is one of those rare occasions when we think the oddsmakers have the wrong team favored. The Rams defense was exposed last week by Arizona QB Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offense, allowing 465 yards of total offense, including 216 on the ground. The Rams really seemed to struggle containing the very mobile Murray and they face a similar QB tonight in Russell Wilson, who can hurt defenses with both his arm and his legs.
As for the Seahawks defense, they have really struggled this year against the run, but the Rams won’t be able to expose that weakness since their running game is ranked in the bottom third of the league.
Under head coach Pete Carroll, the Seattle Seahawks are 10-1 in Thursday night games and have won nine in a row, so the Seahawks are well-equipped at preparing for games on a short week. The team is also 12-4 against the spread in its last 16 games when listed as the underdog, including last week’s upset win at San Francisco.
