Week 3 of the 2019 NFL football season is upon us. Contenders are being formed before our very eyes, and we are also finding out who the pretenders are.
Two teams on opposite ends of this list make for our Sunday Night Football matchup. The Los Angeles Rams will be on the road to take on the Cleveland Browns.
These two teams could not be more opposite, with one living up to their hype and one falling short.
Regardless, we will preview the game for you and help determine what the best bets are before Sunday night.
Rams at Browns Overview
The Rams were as close as a runner-up can get to a Super Bowl last year. They fell to the Patriots and left the stadium feeling as if they could do more.
Well, there is no hangover from that this season. The Rams have been clicking in all facets of their game. Jared Goff looks like he is improving as a quarterback, their trio of wideouts look as formidable as ever, and their run game looks better with a solid backup behind Todd Gurley.
That isn’t even mentioning the best player on their roster (and possibly in the NFL), defensive tackle Aaron Donald. He is a one-man wrecking ball on defense and demands a constant double-team.
The Rams may be one of the most complete teams in the NFL, but on the other side of the field, the Cleveland Browns have fallen short of everyone’s expectations.
Odell Beckham Jr. did get himself going last week against the Jets, but really it felt like the Browns should have scored more than they ended up with.
The Browns defense appears to have some gigantic holes in the run game. They have let Derrick Henry and Le’Veon Bell run all over them.
To their credit, those are two of the top backs in the NFL, but I still think the expectations were set too high for Cleveland to begin the season, and they will still be experiencing some growing pains when it is all said and done.
Our friends at BetAnySports have the Rams favored on the road in this matchup at -3. This comes as no surprise with how great the Rams have looked and how many question marks Cleveland still holds.
Be on the lookout for a big game from Gurley, as he has been tentative in his starts so far. I think this is the game he will break away for a big score, and help lead Los Angeles to victory.

Take the Rams on the road in this matchup. Cleveland is still too shaky to trust this early in the season, and the Rams will not hold back on them.
