Lions need a bounce back win

The Raider haven’t had the season they hoped for so far and sit under 500 at 3-4 on the season. They rattled off two straight victories and were then upset by the Bears last week knocking them back down into the loss column. This offense hasn’t been great ranking 18th in the league passing wise but have the worst rushing attack in the NFL. They are only averaging 16 points a game putting them at 30th in the league. They have been slightly better on defense allowing 23 a game ranking 22nd in the league. In this stacked AFC the Raiders need to start putting some wins together if they want to save this season.

The Lions have looked like one of the better teams in the league the year and sit atop the NFC North with a 5-2 record. Last week they were embarrassed and need a win to get some momentum back. Losing 38-6 to the Ravens this team got a wake up call to take their game to the next level. This team has been great on offense ranking 8th averaging around 25 a game. It’s a very balanced offense 5th in passing and 11th in rushing. Their defense has been decent allowing 21.6 putting them at 19th in the league.

Take the Lions in this one. The Raiders have not looked great and running into a team of this caliber is not what they need. The Lions are going to be hungry after getting clobbered last week. This team simply outmatched the Raiders in every way and I don’t see a way Vegas keeps this one close.  So for our Raiders v Lions expert pick take the Lions -7.5.
