Jordan Love Is The Real Deal

After trading future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers handed over the reins to 24-year old QB Jordan Love. Love was drafted 26th overall in 2020, and spent several season’s as Aaron Rodgers backup, learning the offense, and waiting for his time to shine. That time has come, and Love is ready for it. In his first 3 games as the Packers starting QB, Jordan Love recorded 655 passing yards (218.3 yards per game), 74 rushing yards (24.7 yards per game), 8 total touchdowns, and 1 interception. He has a passer rating of 94.7 and a completion percentage of 53.1. Love has led the Packers to a 2-1 record, and in Week 4, he faces a Lions defense who is giving up 225.3 passing yards per game. 

Jordan Love’s passing prop is O/U 225.5 yards, and I’m here to tell you to take the Over. Detroit’s best Safety, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, is on IR. Lions CB Cameron Sutton and DE Aidan Hutchinson could cause problems for Love, but with the Packers expected to welcome back RB Aaron Jones, WR Christian Watson, and LT David Bakhtiari from injury, Love will have better protection and more weapons at his disposal. The Lions have a good run defense, meaning the Packers will rely on the pass to move the ball down the field.
