The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to Indiana to play against the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on August, 27th at 7:30 pm. This will be the final game both of these teams play in the preseason. Last week, the Colts played the Detroit Lions and they lost by a final score of 27-26. The Buccaneers lost their game last week against the Tennessee Titans by a final score of 13-3. Heading into this season, both of these teams are expected to be in the playoffs come the end of the regular season, so expect both of these teams to be cautious with playing their starters for an extensive amount of time. As it is the last game of the preseason, the coaches need to submit their final 52-man roster so expect to see players playing their hardest trying to make the cut. Jack Coan took over in the middle of the third quarter until the end of the game. He was able to throw for 83 yards and one touchdown and had a quarterback rating of 116.9. In this game, the Colts will be playing their starters, so it won’t be until after the starters are taken out of the game that either Ehlinger or Coan can play for the Colts. It is unsure how long the starters will play for but the Colts should feel confident in the backup quarterbacks they have. 

The Tampa Buccaneers like the Colts have not won a game this preseason. They have scored 27 points while allowing 39 points in their two games. Luckily for them, they get starting quarterback Tom Brady back after he was away from the team due to personal reasons. Brady will be playing in this game and it will be interesting to see how he affects the game. Brady missed over a week of training camp and will use this game to get himself game ready for the first game of the regular season. The Buccaneers will also play their other starters but it is unknown for how long they will play. 

I think this game will be high-scoring as both of these teams will have their starters playing for a portion of the game. I expect both of these teams to play their starters for the first half of the game but might pull them early if the coaches feel they’ve seen enough. Expect to see these teams playing hard as neither would want to head into the regular season having lost every preseason game.
