The game starts at 8:15 PM EST in New York’s MetLife Stadium. The Moneyline has the Jets at +114, while the Bills are favored at -135. The O/U is set at 46 points, and the Spread is 2.5 points in favor of Buffalo.

First Monday Night Matchup of the Season

The Buffalo Bills have dominated the AFC East in recent seasons. They finished the season 13-3, securing their third straight divisional title, yet the Bills have yet to reach a Super Bowl with QB Josh Allen under center. The New York Jets on the other hand, have been the laughing stock of the NFL for years. The Jets haven’t seen the playoffs since 2010, and finished last in the AFC East with a 7-10 record for the third straight season.  

However, all that is about to change in New York. The Jets made some BIG moves over the offseason, and I can’t wait to see if it pays off. Future Hall-of-Fame QB Aaron Rodgers is now a New York Jet, along with legendary RB Dalvin Cook. The Jets also built a talented WR corps around Rogers, led by last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, Garrett Wilson. Furthermore, the Jets have a top-tier defense, something we rarely hear, but with Quinnen Williams, C.J. Mosley, and Sauce Gardner leading the charge, the Bills are in for a rude awakening if they think Monday is going to be an easy game. 

I like the Jets in this one. It goes without saying the Bills are a talented team, but the Jets are a new and improved side. Feeding off the energy of the hype, and with their home fans cheering them on, the Jets will be propelled to an upset win over the Bills.
