Vikings vs Broncos art

The Minnesota Vikings travel to Colorado to play against the Denver Broncos at Empower Field on August, 27th at 9:00 pm. This will be the final game both of these teams play in the preseason. Last week, the Broncos played the Buffalo Bills and they got smoked, losing by a final score of 42-15. The Vikings lost their game last week against the San Francisco 49ersby a final score of 17-7. Heading into this season, both of these teams are expected to be in the playoffs come the end of the regular season, so expect both of these teams to be cautious with playing their starters for an extensive amount of time. As it is the last game of the preseason, the coaches need to submit their final 52-man roster so expect to see players playing their hardest trying to make the cut. Caesars Casino & Sportsbook has the match result odds at -150 Denver and -110 Minnesota. Additionally, the over/under total points for the game is set at 36.0 with the over and under both being -110. New users will receive a Risk-Free Bet of up to $1500 on their first wager.

The Denver Broncos head into this game with a preseason record of 1-1. They were able to win their first game against the Dallas Cowboys by a final score of 17-7. Heading into this game, head coach Nathaniel Hackett has come out and said that the starters will not be playing in this game as the team wants to prevent any injuries from happening. In the Broncos last game against the Bills, they were only able to score one touchdown while the rest of their points came from field goals. Quarterback Brett Rypien was the only offensive player to have a good performance as he threw for 191 yards and one touchdown with a quarterback rating of 110.1. The Broncos had only 270 total yards of offense while the Bills almost had double with 510 yards. What’s even more interesting is the fact that Denver had only 32 rushing yards compared to Buffalo’s 208. In this game against the Vikings, it will be hard to imagine a different offensive output as the starters will not be taking the field.

The Minnesota Vikings head into this game with a preseason record of 0-2. They lost their first game to the Las Vegas Raiders by a final score of 26-20. Like the Broncos, the Vikings will be without their starters as head coach Kevin O’Connell doesn’t want any unnecessary injuries from happening. In the Vikings last game against the 49ers, they were only able to score one time. They were only able to record 195 total yards of offense while the 49ers racked up 344 total yards. Quarterback Kellen Mond, had a hard time in this game as he threw two interceptions and had a quarterback rating of 21.3. The Vikings will probably use this game to make their final roster decisions and will focus their attention on the regular season where they have a chance to win their division.

I expect this game to be a low-scoring affair as both of these teams are without their starters. The Vikings and Broncos are both coming off performances where they had a tough time moving the ball on offense. However, the Vikings would benefit the most from a win in this game as they haven’t won one all preseason. Due to this reason, I do believe quarterback Kellen Mond will have a better game and will be the reason the Vikings win.
