Eagles visit Deshaun-less Browns
The Eagles are coming off of a close 24-21 loss to the Jets in week one of the preseason. Hurts was incredible for the Eagles in the limited action he got in this game as he went 6/6 for 80 yards and a touchdown. He is the X-factor for the Eagles this year.
The Browns are coming off of a bad week off the field. Even though they beat the Jaguars 24-13 they had a horrible week as Deshaun Watson’s suspension was extended to 11 games from the original six. This puts a real ax in the Browns aspirations.
I like the Eagles to win this game. The Eagles were great with Hurts on the field in game one and I think that continues. You also have to remember that the starters get a lot more playing time in the second to last preseason game as the last game is generally reserved for those who are barely making the team. Hurts will be on the field for a while here and I think he will lead the Eagles to a decent lead. Plus, Deshaun Watson will not be playing for the Browns in this one so I think the Eagles defense may feast.
