Denver at Arizona Game Preview
Denver took a major step backwards in 2017 with a straight-up 5-11 slide through the regular season while going a costly 4-11-1 against the spread. The Broncos come into this year with +500 betting odds at BetAnySports to win the AFC West, which are the longest on the board. They are off to a 1-2 start in the preseason SU and ATS with the total going OVER in all three games.
The lone victory was last Friday against Washington in a 29-17 win as three-point road underdogs. Denver got a strong showing from Case Keenum as its new starting quarterback. He completed 12-of-18 passes for 148 yards. Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly combined for another 109 yards through the air and the Broncos racked up 149 yards running the ball on 30 rushing attempts.
The Cardinals were third in the NFC West last season at 8-8 SU with a 6-9-1 record ATS. The total stayed UNDER in 10 of their 16 games. BetAnySports has Arizona listed as a heavy +1400 underdog to win the division this year in what could be another step in the wrong direction. So far this preseason, it has been perfect SU and ATS with victories against the Los Angeles Chargers at home and against New Orleans and Dallas on the road. The total has stayed UNDER in the last two games.
In Sunday’s 27-3 victory against the Cowboys as three-point road favorites, Dallas made things rather easy for the Cardinals with five lost fumbles and three interceptions. The trio of Sam Bradford, Mike Glennon and Chad Kanoff combined for just 63 yards passing on 13 completions. Arizona’s running game was far more productive with 146 yards on 27 rushing attempts.
