Defending champions kick off season

The Chiefs are coming off of a Super Bowl win. Patrick Mahomes led them to his second Super Bowl victory in his first six seasons. This team is amazing and should be the favorites to win another championship this season.

The Saints are entering a new age. They now have Derek Carr at QB and are hoping that he can kick start a resurgence after a disappointing 2022 season. Micheal Thomas should be back and Chris Olave should take a step forward. 

I like the Saints in this one. The Chiefs are the defending champions and don’t have any reason to be playing most of their guys. The Saints are probably going to be playing a lot of their younger guys in this one and will be starting new QB Derek Carr. He should pick apart this Chiefs defense that will be made up of a ton of guys that aren’t getting significant reps during the season.
