Things to look for
How will Baker Mayfield do in his second start with the Rams?
Baker Mayfield struggled last week against the Raiders until the final 1:41 of the game when he led the Rams to a game winning touchdown drive. The Packers secondary have been the strength of their defense as they rank fourth in the NFL in opponent passing yards per game allowing teams to only average 192.2 yards a game this season. How will Green Bay’s running game fare against the Rams defense without Aaron Donald?
With the Packers one two punch in Aaron Jones and AJ Dillion the Packers have had success on offense in the running game. It will be interesting to see how much success they will have this game without the Rams having Aaron Donald.
Prediction
The Rams injuries will cost them in this game as they will miss their superstars in this one. Aaron Rodgers does enough in the pass game with Christian Watson and Allen Lazard. Los Angeles will miss Aaron Donald as Aaron Jones and AJ Dillion will have success in the run game. Green Bay’s defense does enough to stop Baker Mayfield and the Rams struggling offense. The Packers cruise by the Rams in this one.
Prediction: Rams 14, Packers 31. Green Bay covers the spread (-7).
