LETS LOOK AT THE TAMPA VS DALLAS PICKS PREDICTION

After a long offseason, we’ve finally reached the start of the 2021 NFL season as a pair of NFC teams kick off the year down in the Sunshine State.

The Dallas Cowboys are on the road as they travel east to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday night. Dallas finished the 2020 season 6-10 and ended up third in the NFC East as they missed the postseason.

Tampa Bay went 11-5 last season, earning a wild-card berth as they were second in the NFC South. The Buccaneers went on to win the Super Bowl as they trounced Kansas City 31-9 in Super Bowl LV back in February.

In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Cowboys own a 13-4 advantage and have won the last two meetings. That includes a 27-20 home win in the most recent meeting on December 23, 2018.

Tampa Bay made a change at quarterback last season, moving on from former first overall pick Jameis Winston and turning the reins over to Tom Brady. The ageless veteran fit right in and helped the Buccaneers make the postseason for the first time since 2007, which is the last time the franchise won the division. Tampa Bay went 11-5 in the regular season and earned a wild card as they were one game behind the Saints for the NFC South crown.

In the postseason, the Buccaneers relied on Brady’s leadership and experience, downing Washington, New Orleans and Green Bay to reach the Super Bowl. Tampa Bay then shut down Kansas City’s prolific offensive attack to win the Super Bowl for the second time in franchise history.

The Buccaneers bring back all 22 starters, marking the first time in the salary cap era and the first time overall since 1977 that a Super Bowl winner brought back all their starters.

THE COWBOYS NEED TO SHOW THEY CAN COMPETE WITH THE BIG BOYS IF THE STAND ANY CHANCE TO GET BACK INTO THE SUPERBOWL SEEMS THE PUBIC IS ALL OVER BRADY & COMPANY ON THIS GAME I THINK DALLAS CAN SCORE AND COVER THE 9.5 POINTS TAKE THE BOYS TO COVER
