Week 4 of the NFL season is finally here, and it is starting to shape into what we thought it would be.

Heading into the week, there were still six undefeated teams and seven teams without a win. This article will be featuring two of the top teams in the NFC, one of which is in the undefeated category.

The Dallas Cowboys will be traveling a state over to the Superdome to take on the New Orleans Saints. We will preview the matchup and help to determine the best bets before kickoff.

Cowboys at Saints Overview

The Cowboys come into this game 3-0, looking sharp in all facets of their game. They have yet to play a strong team, though, and this Saints matchup will be the first chance they get to prove they belong in the elite conversation.

Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have been sensational, and have elevated this offense to another level in 2019. Amari Cooper has been Dak’s favorite wide receiver, hauling in four touchdowns in three games.

The offensive line has dominated the trenches and allowed the offense to flourish in every way possible.

On the other side of the ball, the Saints may end up okay. Week 2 saw them lose Drew Brees to an unfortunate thumb injury, but Teddy Bridgewater has proved why he is the highest-paid backup in the entire NFL.

Bridgewater led the Saints on the road in Seattle in Week 3, coming out with a victory against the 12th man. It was a total team win, with the defense and special teams accounting for two touchdowns, while Bridgewater threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns of his own.

Alvin Kamara was on full display, accounting for over 150 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns himself.

Both of these teams are at the top of the ladder in the NFC and will likely be featured in the playoffs. The question still is, Who is elite? I think we will find the answer from this matchup.

It is no secret that Dallas is the favorite with all the weapons they have.

Our friends at BetAnySports have the Cowboys favored on the road in New Orleans at -2.5. Dallas has been the more impressive team so far this season, and Brees is still out for six more weeks.
