Cowboys Look to Bounce Back After Upset
The Dallas Cowboys looked utterly dominant in the first two weeks of the season, but in week 3 the Cowboys were knocked back down to earth. The Arizona Cardinals stunning 28-16 upset victory showed everyone the Dallas defense isn’t as formidable as we thought. The Cowboys are now 2-1, but have a solid chance to get back into the win column against the struggling 1-2 New England Patriots.
The Patriots got their first win of the season last week against the Jets, but New England is a long way off from their former glory. The defense remains the staple of the team’s post-Brady era, but the offense still needs work. The Patrios average 17.3 points per game, 11.4 fewer points than the Cowboys 28.7 average.
I like the Cowboys in this one. Both New England and Dallas have top-tier defenses, so it will come down to offense. Between the two sides, Dallas has the better offense, and will thus win the game by at least a touchdown.
So for our Patriots vs. Cowboys expert pick, take the Dallas Cowboys to Cover the Spread (-115) on Sunday.
