Commanders visit Lions looking for 2-0 start
The Lions played a very competitive game last week but ultimately came up just short as they lost to the Eagles 38-35. I think the Lions will be competitive in almost every game this season. De’Andre Swift was spectacular in the opener with 175 all purpose yards and a touchdown.
The Commanders started off the season with a win as they beat the Jaguars 28-22. Carson Wentz was pretty good in his debut. He did throw two interceptions but other than that he was 27/41 for 313 yards and four touchdowns.
I like the Commanders in this one. I think the Lions are getting too much respect because of how well they played last week. These Lions needed a great performance from Swift to stay in the game last week. Swift is questionable for Sunday. I think the Commanders will win this game by a field goal if not more behind the play of Carson Wentz. The Commanders have the better QB and the better defense.
