Colts Get the Win
Tonight, the Indianapolis Colts will take on the Detroit Tigers at home. Both teams will be in their second preseason game out of four, and it is quite surprising that the lines are favored in this game. In the Colts previous game against the Buffalo Bills, they lost by a final score of 24-27. Similarly, the Lions lost their first preseason game against the Falcons by a score of 23-27. It is honestly quite surprising that the cults are underdogs in this game, as in their first preseason game, their entire starting lineup, aside from Jonathan Taylor, played well into the second quarter. And although they didn’t show too much to be excited about, one bright spot was Michael Pittman, who was able to haul in 2 of his 3 targets for 30 yards. Expect a big season for the third year man out of the University of South California as he looks to build upon his first 1,000 yard season last year. For the lines, it will likely be more of David Blaugh and Tim Boyle as it was last game. Blough left much to be desired last game as he went 18-28 with only 141 yards passing. He’ll need to be better in tonight’s game.
