This is the Saturday, January 20th NFL report for the Packers vs. 49ers Divisional Round prediction. 

The game starts at 8:15 PM EST in San Fran’s Levi’s Stadium. The Moneyline has the Packers as +345 underdogs and the 49ers as -455 favorites. The O/U total is 50.5, and the Spread is 9.5 points.

Christian McCaffrey is the Ultimate Impact Player

49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has been everything the organization hoped for, and more. The 8th-year back out of Stanford led the NFL in rushing yards this season, recording 1,459 yards on the ground. McCaffrey tacked on another 564 yards receiving, and posted 21 total touchdowns (14 rushing, 7 receiving). CMC clearly played a vital role in the 49ers offense this season, and will be expected to carry the torch once again versus the Packers on Saturday. 

McCaffrey’s rushing prop is O/U 92.5 yards. I would take the Over on his player prop. McCaffrey was matchup proof this season, meaning he’d have a great game regardless of the opponent. But on Saturday, he has a fantastic matchup against a generous Green Bay defense. The Packers struggled to stop the run this season, allowing 128.3 rushing yards per game. McCaffrey, who averaged 16 carries per contest during the regular season, will be a busy man, as the Niners are expected to lean on their All-Pro running back all night. CMC went over 92.5 rushing yards 9 times this season, and against the Packers porous run defense, he’s set up for another big day.
