Heading into week two, the Seattle Seahawks are atop a division that includes the 49ers Rams and Cardinals. Exactly how we all thought it’d be right? Heading into the season everyone had the Seattle Seahawks as the ride in last place in this division and although that still might happen week one was very surprising as we watched Seattle spoil Russell Wilson’s revenge game and we watched the 49ers enter a game against the Bears as big favorites and completely fall on their face. The 49ers is a little excusable as they were playing in a virtual hurricane slip and slide, as a professional quarterback you have to be able to play in conditions like that as that definitely won’t be the last time Trey will have to face those conditions. This will be the true first test of Trey Lance and if he falls flat on his face once again you already have 49ers fans calling to bring back Jimmy Garrapollo into the starting spotlight. Genio Smith is confident that this will be the season that he proved everyone wrong as he dropped one of the best quotes after an NFL game stating “they wrote me off but I didn’t write back”. But will they be able to upset the San Francisco team that has had their number for the last couple seasons and has a significantly better defense that they played week one. I believe we see a better game from Trey Lance today and the 49ers will cover.
