Now let’s get to our San Francisco 49ers vs Minnesota Vikings prediction.
But Vikings get Win
Tonight in the San Francisco 49ers versus Minnesota Vikings preseason game in week two, Trey Lance will get his second start in a preseason game this year. There was a lot of skepticism surrounding Trey Lance in the offseason because although GM John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan continued to assure the media that Trey Lance was their guy, people continue to be wary that since his team hadn’t and still hasn’t traded Jimmy Garoppolo, that it might be because the team didn’t have full trust in trail that’s yet. Trey Lance is off to a good start at expelling those skeptics, as he went 4-5 with 92 yards and a touchdown, including a long 76 yarder to Danny Gray, their speedy rookie wide receiver. He still has a long way to go, but another good performance tonight will speak loads. However, although he may have a good start, the 49ers will get the loss as the Vikings have a deeper team. The Vikings will likely turn to Shawn Mannion and Kellen Mond at the quarterback position, and Mond played surprisingly well last game. He went 9-14 with 119 yards and two touchdowns. Two guys to keep an eye on for these Vikings are young running backs Ty Chandler and Kene Nwangwu, as they fight for the RB 3 spot.
