Buccaneers vs. Bills: Best Player Prop

Stefon Diggs, Bills WR, Over 6.5 Receptions (-140)

Stefon Diggs is unquestionably the top wide receiver on the Buffalo Bills. Diggs is averaging 11 targets, 7.8 receptions, and 96.9 yards per game. He has 6 touchdowns in 7 games, putting him on pace to record double-digit scoring numbers for the 3rd-straight season. Bills QB Josh Allen loves Diggs because of his competitive drive and unwillingness to give up on a play. Against a middling Buccaneers secondary that’s giving up over 24 receptions and 246.7 passing yards per game, Stefon Diggs will be involved early and often in Buffalo’s offensive scheme. 

Take the over on Diggs’ 6.5 receptions prop. This bet is priced at -140, which means you can risk $140 to win $100, for a total payout of $240, if Stefon Diggs records at least 7 receptions.     

Buccaneers vs. Bills Game Predictions

Take the Buffalo Bills to Cover the Spread (-9). The point spread is currently 9 points, meaning the Bills need to win the game by at least 9 in order to cover. I certainly think that’s possible. Buffalo is struggling, no doubt about that, but that doesn’t mean they’re no longer a top-tier team. The Bills are still averaging 28.3 points per game, the 3rd-most in the NFL. The Buccaneers on the other hand, scored just 1 total touchdown in their last 2 games. 

The Bucs and Bills may have the same number of losses, but at least Buffalo has scored a touchdown in every game this season, unlike the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay’s QB, Baker Mayfield, is questionable to play, and even if he does, Mayfield clearly isn’t 100% and the Bucs offense will struggle to find the endzone. Buffalo’s defense is allowing the 5th-fewest points per game (16.9), and while Tampa Bay is right behind them with the 6th-fewest (17.3), the Bucs have struggled to stop the pass, which is where the Bills offense thrives.
