Best Team in the League

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL and are now the consensus best team. This team went out and got many free agent acquisitions during the off-season such as James Bradberry, Darius Slay, AJ Brown, and CJ Gardner Johnson, and while many believe that this would put the team over the hump to win the division not many people saw this flurry of offenses and defensive prowess coming. This team has now become the favorites to win this division despite the Cowboys playing well, and now have seen their Super Bowl odds skyrocket. 

If this game was played just a year ago it would have been the Arizona Cardinals who were 4-0, and who were the last remaining unbeaten team in the league, but this year has been a different story for them. They currently have two wins and two losses but their wings haven’t been that impressive. They got their first win in week two against the Las Vegas raiders who we all know have had their own struggles as they have only won one game this season, and the Cardinals needed a late fourth quarter and overtime search to win that game. Then last week the Cardinals beat the Carolina Panthers who we all know are one of the bottom teams in the league. Their two losses have come to teams that we all deem good as they have been the Chiefs in week one and the Rams in week three. That week one showing against the Chiefs was really a poor one as it seemed like the Cardinals defense wasn’t even ready for an NFL game yet. Kyler himself hasn’t been the Kyler of last year but I expect him to get better. 

Surprisingly you would assume that this game would be an offensive showing, as it showcases many big names but I expect this to be more of a defensive game. The game will be in Arizona which will help Arizona’s defense which is currently ranked 17th, but they rank 5th overall in a run defense which is where the Eagles truly excel and will want to make their presence felt.
