The Miami Dolphins have been playing great football thus far. They are the only undefeated team in the AFC with a record of 3-0. They are coming off of a tough home win against AFC East rivals the Buffalo Bills. They won by a final score of 21-19 and the game was competitive until the final play. In that game against the Bills, the Dolphins got dominated statistically but were able to pull out a hard win. It’s impressive that the Dolphins were able to pull out a win with such a lopsided statline from the Bills. Tua Tagovailoa led the Dolphins in passing yards with 186 yards and he had 1 touchdown. Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle led the team in receiving yards with 102 on 4 receptions. The Dolphins defense were on the field for a long time in this game and were able to force a Buffalo fumble. That fumble would lead to a Dolphins rushing touchdown scored by running back Chase Edmonds. Unfortunately for Miami, this short week might cause a lot of problems for them in this game against Cincinatti. With the defense on the field with more than half of the game, it will be hard to imagine that they will be able to play with that intensity in this game without any injuries happening. 

The Cincinnatti Bengals head into this game with a 1-2 record on the season after picking up their first win on the road against the New York Jets. They won that game by a final score of 27-12 and led the whole game. Joe Burrow led the team in passing yards with 275 and he was able to throw 3 touchdowns. He had a great game. Wide receivers Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins led the team in receiving yards. Boyd caught 4 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown while Higgins caught 5 passes for 93 yards. Franchise wide receiver Ja’Marr chase had an underwhelming performance as he caught 6 passes for 29 yards but he was able to score a touchdown. The Bengals defense dominated the Jets as they forced 4 turnovers and were able to sack the Jets quarterback 4 times. The Bengals are now at home and can win their first home game in a very important game. 

I think the Bengals will be able to control this game against the Dolphins. The Dolphins defense is exhausted and will look sluggish in this game. The Bengals will benefit from playing at home and should be able to take advantage of a defense that will underperform.
