The Washington Wizards (27-34) are playing their best basketball of the campaign, but the San Antonio Spurs prevented them from recording the ninth consecutive win by defeating them in overtime. The Wizards are in the playoff hunt, and at the moment, they are the No. 10 seed in the East, but Toronto and Chicago are very close.

Russell Westbrook notched the 175th triple-double of his career and the 12th triple-double of the month, which moved him past Wilt Chamberlain for the most triple-doubles in a calendar month in NBA history. Alex Len posted a double-double of 17 points and ten rebounds, while Rui Hachimura, Anthony Gill, and Davis Bertans scored 13 points apiece.
