Baltimore Hosts Pittsburgh For AFC North Rivalry Game
The Baltimore Ravens are leading the AFC North with a 3-1 record. This Sunday, Baltimore will look to strengthen their hold on the division with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens have already beaten two of their division rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns, and if Baltimore beats the Steelers, they will be in complete control of the AFC North. The Steelers will look to do whatever it takes to prevent that.
Pittsburgh is an even 2-2, but they’re coming off an embarrassing 6-30 loss to the Houston Texans last week, where the Steelers were actually favored to win, but instead suffered a horrendous loss after failing to score a single touchdown. The Steelers have been incredibly inconsistent on offense, and unless QB Kenny Pickett grows into his role as a leader, Pittsburgh doesn’t have much upside.
I like the Baltimore Ravens to cover the spread (-4.5) in this one. Baltimore is averaging 24.8 points, 335.0 net yards, and 14.5 points against per game through 4 weeks. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is posting MVP numbers once again (794 passing yards, 220 rushing yards, and 8 total touchdowns), and the Baltimore defense is one of the best in the NFL, having only allowed 4 total touchdowns all season (3 passing, 0 rushing, 1 return).
So for our Ravens vs. Steelers expert pick, take the Baltimore Ravens to Cover (-112) on Sunday.
