The Bills are coming off of another disappointing playoff defeat as they got dismantling by the Bengals to end the season last year. They have now had three straight disappointing playoff exits. This team needs to get over the hump this year.
The Colts come into this year hoping that their first round pick can turn this franchise around. They picked Anthony Richardson in the first round and are hoping that he can step into the starter role immediately and show his talent.
I like the Colts in this one. The Bills are one of the best teams in the NFL and that is because most of their positions are filled by top players at their positions. This leads to backups and third stringers playing in the preseason game. The Colts on the other hand are going to be playing Richardson and a lot of young players. This should be enough to cover the spread.
