A Great Football Team | Bills vs Titans | OSB
Bills Mafia
The Buffalo Bills host the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football at 7:15 pm. This will be the first of two Monday Night Football games that will be played. The Titans and Bills matched up last year and Tennesee was able to walk away with a 34-31 victory. This game should have a different result as the Bills are poised for a deep post-season run and in many eyes are seen as the Super Bowl favorites. This should be an easy game for the Bills as the titans are half the team they were last year. The odds for this game are currently set at -480 Bills, +360 Titans, and the over/under is 47.5 according to Caesars Casino & Sportsbook. New users will receive a Risk-Free Bet of up to $1250 on their first wager. When you make your first bet, if it loses, it’s on the house as Caesars will refund any losing wagers in full (up to $1250 in the form of a single-use bonus credit Plus Caesar’s is adding 1,000 Reward Credits and 1,000 Tier Credits). The Tennessee Titans head into this week with a record of 0-1 after they lost in their home opener against the New York Giants by a final score of 21-20. In that game, quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns but his performance was not enough. The Titans number one offensive option, running back Derrick Henry, struggled to assert his usual rushing dominance. He had 82 rushing yards on the day and had an average of 3.9 yards per carry. The Titans this offseason traded away their former number one wide receiver, AJ Brown, to the Philadelphia Eagles. They will miss his presence in this game against the Bills as the Titans wide receivers are not as good as Brown. However, Henry has made a career making big plays out of terrible situations and might be able to have an impressive performance in this game.
The Buffalo Bills are a great football team. Last week, they opened the NFL season and played the Los Angeles Rams. They went into the defending champions’ stadium and absolutely dominated them and won by a final score of 31-10. In that game, quarterback Josh Allen threw for 297 yards and 3 touchdowns and although he had 2 interceptions, he was able to rush for 56 yards and 1 rushing touchdown. He was able to connect with the team’s star wide receiver Stefon Diggs for 8 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown. He was also able to connect with breakout candidate, Gabriel Davis for 4 receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. However, the Bills did have a great offensive performance, they also committed 4 turnovers. Fortunately for them, their defense was able to intercept the Rams 3 times. The Bills will need to do a better job at protecting the football.
I think the Bills will dominate in this game and blow the Titans out. On top of forcing three turnovers last week, the Bills recorded 7 sacks. Their defense will be too much for the Titans in this game and it will be another week of dominance for Buffalo. Expect the Bills to gameplan around Derrick Henry and have Tannehill beat them with his subpar weapons. This will be another great outing for Allen and both of his receivers.
For our expert pick, take the Bills -10.0.
