There was some controversy when Michigan had gotten into the tournament over other teams like Texas A&M. Michigan was only three games over 500. This marks the first time since 2001 that a team only three games over 500 makes the tournament. Michigan is coming off of a first-round loss to Indiana in the Big-10 tournament yet they are still favored over Colorado St. here. 

Colorado St is a bit higher has a bit higher of a seed than I expected but they do deserve to be here. They went 25-5 this year and had a winning record in every quadrant.

I can see this line moving in Colorado St.’s favor already. They started as 3 point underdogs and now the line is +1.5 even though a lot of money is coming in on Michigan. I think Colorado St. wins this game outright and advances.
