Big 12 Battle in Texas
Texas is coming off of a rough 61-55 home loss to ninth-ranked Texas Tech while TCU is coming off of a win against West Virginia.
This is a big stretch for a TCU team that is on the bubble when it comes to making the NCAA tournament. They now have a five-game stretch that includes two games against sixth-ranked Kansas and one game against 20th ranked Texas, 9th ranked Texas Tech, and unranked West Virginia on the road. This would be a statement win for a TCU team that badly needs one.
This is not as big a game for Texas and I feel like their next two games could be a bit of a letdown spot for them. They play TCU and unranked West Virginia before ending the season at home against 10th ranked Baylor and on the road against sixth-ranked Kansas.
I am seeing this line at Texas -9 and I think it’s a bit too big for this Big-12 matchup. For TCU this is a huge game when it comes to their March Madness aspirations.
