This Georgia Tech vs Louisville basketball match-up is the third game of an ACC First Round Triple Header. The winner of this 11th seed vs 14th seed game will advance to Wednesday’s Second Round where they’ll play sixth-seeded Virginia.
It’s pretty clear that neither of these teams has much of a chance to make it to next week’s Big Dance unless they make a run to the ACC Championship Game and win the tournament and the automatic win.
In the only meeting between these two teams this season on January 2nd, Louisville went to Atlanta and beat the Yellow Jackets, 67-64, as a three-point favorite in a game that had a total of 138.5.
